What is Blackjack Academy?
Blackjack Academy is educational desktop software for learning basic strategy, practising blackjack decisions, reviewing mistakes, and tracking progress.
Why not just memorize a strategy chart?
A strategy chart is useful as a reference, but Blackjack Academy is built around learning by application. It repeatedly presents situations where you make a decision, helping you become familiar with the patterns behind the chart instead of relying only on rote memorization.
Is real money involved?
No. Training and simulated play use virtual chips. Blackjack Academy is an educational environment, not a real-money casino.
Does correct blackjack strategy guarantee winning?
No. Basic strategy identifies the mathematically preferable decision over the long term, but a correct decision can still lose an individual hand and does not guarantee profit.
What can I practise?
You can study basic strategy, make decisions in focused exercises and simulated hands, repeat situations, and return to mistakes that need more work.

Can core training be used offline?
Yes. Core training is local and can be used offline without relying on this website.
Is a desktop account required?
No. An account is not required to launch or use core desktop training. When sales open, web download access will use an emailed code rather than a customer account.
Is a permanent internet connection required for core training?
No. Core training does not require a permanent connection. A future purchase, download, or email recovery will require internet access; core desktop training remains local.
Availability
Platforms, ownership, and delivery
These answers distinguish settled product policy from commercial details that still need approval.
What Windows environment has currently been validated?
Windows is the platform planned for the first commercial release. A smoke test succeeded on Windows 10 Home 22H2 x64 with WebView2 already installed. A clean machine without WebView2 has not yet been validated, and this does not imply support for every Windows version or hardware configuration. macOS is not currently offered. See System Requirements for confirmed and pending details.
What updates are included with a one-time purchase?
A one-time purchase is intended to grant the durable right to use the purchased product generation. No particular update, maintenance period, future feature, platform, compatibility period, or support term is promised unless it is expressly stated at sale or required by applicable law. If an update is made available for that generation, its scope will be stated when released. A genuinely new major generation or platform may be sold separately.
Is Blackjack Academy a subscription?
No subscription is currently planned. The intended MVP model is a one-time purchase, with final price and checkout details to be published before sales open.
When will commercial availability be announced?
Availability information will be published after the commercial launch details have been approved. No launch date is being announced on this page.
How will purchases, downloads, and updates be handled?
When sales open, an eligible purchase will receive a permanent access code by email. Use it for temporary web access to the Windows downloads included with your purchase. No customer account or password is required. If you lose the code, recover access using your purchase email. Core desktop training works offline after download.
What refund and withdrawal rules will apply?
Mandatory withdrawal and digital-content conformity rights remain available where applicable. Blackjack Academy does not currently plan a general voluntary refund programme beyond required rights, while duplicate payments and manifest errors may still be corrected reasonably. What support will be available?
Future email support is intended to cover installation, access and recovery, general use, and technical issues. No response-time SLA or permanent support commitment is currently offered. Contact details will be published before sales open.
